Avalon Lounge Chair is an expansion of the Avalon collection, designed to extend its signature comfort and visual language into a more compact, upright format. While the original chaise encourages full-body recline and reflection, the lounge chair offers a more social posture, ideal for waiting areas, casual collaboration, or quiet focus.

The sculpted seating geometry fully supports the body while maintaining a relaxed, lounge feel. When paired with a pull-up table like Willow, the lounge chair becomes a focused workspace for laptop use or brainstorming. Optional add-ons, including a 3D knit privacy screen with integrated coat hook and side table, create a self-contained micro-environment. A swivel table option adds convenience for holding personal devices or beverages.

The design continues the core material language of the Avalon line: soft, curved upholstery planes set within a minimal, open-frame steel base. The seat and back are split into two separate forms, a strategic decision to optimize for flat-pack shipping and minimize packaging volume. Visually, this creates a floating effect where two bent planes appear to hover within the frame, reinforcing a sense of lightness and precision.

To showcase the chair’s broad, uninterrupted surfaces, 3D knit upholstery is used, bringing a sweater-like texture and warmth. This knitting technology not only delivers a clean, tailored look but also offers flexibility in surface durability and coloration.
