Born from a deep dive into sustainable material innovation, Tumble explores how post-consumer waste can be reimagined into purposeful, beautiful furniture.
At the heart of the collection are round tabletops crafted from a pioneering material made by diverting textile waste from landfills. Through a careful process of sorting, shredding, and compressing with a minimal binder, discarded textiles are transformed into durable surfaces with a stone-like appearance, each one naturally unique due to its reclaimed origins.
This material innovation guided every design decision. To echo the organic character of the tabletop, solid wood was selected for the base, enhancing a warm, natural aesthetic. The base form nods to the tables’ origin story, drawing inspiration from the universal “tumble dry” laundry care symbol – a circle within a square – paying homage to the table’s textile roots in an iconic way.
Thoughtfully engineered for sustainability and adaptability, Tumble features hidden fasteners that allow for flat-pack shipping, reducing its environmental footprint. Available in two heights and diameters, the tables can be nested together, inviting playful, layered arrangements in lounges or collaborative environments.
Tumble is more than a table; it’s a tactile narrative of giving waste a second life through design.
